Study On Urban Land-use Scale Control

Urban land-use scale expansion without planning will lead to a lot of problem such as farmland and green land lose, environment deterioration, low efficiency in urban land utilization and so on. On condition of resource scarcity, how to control urban land-use, is the key problem of the research.On the base of illustrating the connotation, necessity and principle of urban land-use scale control, the papers analyzes present land use characteristics and problem in detail.On the base of improving the methods of traditionally rational land-use scale definition, the papers utilize threshold analysis method to definite urban rational land-use scale.The main context of this paper is the research on urban land-use scale control. We mainly analyze this through two sides. First, through analysis the potentiality urban existing land, the paper put forward to establishing land reserve, applying land prices lever, carrying out renewal of the old city, in order to allocate the existing urban land optimally. Second, in view of different city development prospect, we apply green belt, satellite town or newly developing area, land use regulation to control the expansion of urban construction land area.
