Study On The Support System For Knowledge Management In Virtual Enterprises

With the coming of knowledge economy era, knowledge resources have been one of key elements what operating virtual enterprises (VE) needs. In the management practices, managers gradually find that traditional management pattern cannot solve management problems of VE and VE need to be managed by knowledge management pattern. There are so much knowledge acquisition, memory, application and innovation during a procedure of knowledge management in VE, which can't be completed by hand. Therefore, it's necessary to develop a support system to support knowledge management in VE. As for now, the domestic study on knowledge management is still deepgoing insufficiently and short of information technology support, does not guide knowledge management effectively. Although there are some knowledge management systems overseas, these systems aren't developed on the basis of the trait of knowledge management in VE. So the study on the support system for knowledge management in VE possesses important theory value and nice practical significance. At first, the article analyzes some problems about knowledge management in VE nowadays on the basis of summarizing the correlative theories and present conditions in the world. According to the VE theory and knowledge management theory, this thesis studies the knowledge management connotation in VE by analyzing the trait of VE. After traditional knowledge representation methods are analyzed, a combinative method (predicate logic knowledge representation method and object-oriented knowledge representation method based on rule and frame) is proposed. In system analysis and design, considering the system compatibility sufficiently, the whole structure and functions are designed of the support system for knowledge management in VE. Based on that specific structure of all sections of the system is designed and the structural design of the knowledge base based knowledge discovery from knowledge is described in plain. Then the system is designed and developped by Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft Access 2000. In the end, HaFei Bloc testifies the support system for knowledge management in VE the article designed. The paper analyses the problems of knowledge management system implementation in VE, and brings forward relevant countermeasures. The result proves that the system realizes the original design target and possesses practical significance and value to some extent.
