Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) makes a great impact on managerial experience, and improves many enterprises' performance greatly. In the next few years, BPR will become a hot-spot in the development of information system in Chinese companies.Traditional BPR methodology has stages with complex activities, high demand on the user's knowledge, and the requirement obtained is quite hard. The use of Nolan's Stage theory and the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) of the each stage can get the BPR's requirement more easily, and the Information System Planning (ISP) is also able to achieve the goal of the BPR and reduce the risk. Base on this analysis, the author establishes a new BPR method based on ISP and used it in a real estate company, and archived great success. |
