Ad Hoc network which is constructed by nodes with wireless transceiver is a communication network which is non-center, multi-hop, self-organization and equality. It may not rely on the network infrastructure which exists to launch fast and to organize the self-adapting network. Every node may enter or leave the network freely, and will not cause the entire network to fall into the paralysis. The MAC protocol is one of points of Ad Hoc network research. Existing wireless Ad Hoc networks basically use the single-channel MAC protocol. This kind of technology has limited the data transmission rate and the network capacity of the entire network. The multi-channel MAC protocol may provide the higher data transmission rate and the throughput, but the common multi-channel MAC protocols still have some problems, for example the multi-channel's hidden terminal problem, network latency problem and so on. In order to solve these problems, we must make some improvements to the multi-channel protocols. For the current problems faced by multi-channel MAC protocol of Ad Hoc Networks, we propose a MAC protocol in multi-channel based on channel reservation which can provide QoS guarantees. The protocol effectively solves the multi-channel hidden terminal problem and access latency problems, improves the traditional binary backoff algorithm, provides QoS for high-priority business, increases throughput especially the throughput of high-priority business, and reduces the access latency of the system. In this paper, by NS2 network simulation tools we simulated this new designed protocol, IEEE802.11 single-channel DCF protocol, CCC (Common Control Channel) protocol and the new protocol 1(backoff algorithm for the binary backoff algorithm), then analysed simulation results. Simulation results show that the new protocol due to the introduction of the channel reservation mechanism and QoS mechanism, improves the system throughput, reduces the system access latency and can provide QoS guarantee for high-priority business.
