Research And Implementation Of The College Employment Management System Based On OLAP

Based on the analysis of the characteristics of the employment management businesscollege and development trends, the essay applies the operational data storage and OLAPtechnology into the college employment system. Analyzing the student employment data ofmany aspects, we searched the key factors which is affecting the employment of students, andthen finding the rule of it. We regard the employment situation of Xi'an University of Scienceand Technology, combining with the school teaching management, enrollment management,and other data analysis result, thereby making the employment management analysis systemprovide for the school decision makers a reliable basis for decision-making in educationalreform.The article describes based on the Operational Data Store and Online AnalyticalProcessing technology related knowledge to analysis and study. It describes the OLAP of themulti-dimensional data structure, storage structure and its analytical methods in detail,provides the system architecture, data organization and design model, the trends ofemployment forecasting model according to the business needs. We regard the StudentEmployment as the theme to analysis, the snowflake model as storage structure to designlogical model of operating data, Completing the construction of multi-dimensional databasethrough the SQL Server 2005, Using XtraPivotGrid components of Developer Expresscomparing with techniques of drilling-down and slicing, to extract and analysis the students'employment data from different angles, and then showing the multidimensional data sets inthe way of visualization through the XtraPivotGrid components, to ensure that mangers couldintuitively understand the results of the analysis, so as to provide decision makes with morevaluable data and information. It is proved that the system has been achieved the desired requirements since it wastested, achieving the goal how to use kinds of ways which are slicing, dicing and drilling oftarget data to analysis and operate, the system has good performance of fasting response andmulti-dimensional analysis.
