Detection Of Circular Object Based On Digital Image Processing

Digital image processing is an emerging technology, with the development of computer hardware, real-time digital image processing has become possible. As a result of the emergence of varieties of algorithms, it makes processing speed work faster and faster and services people well. Morphology is based on a mathematical theory, Mathematical morphology has already constituted a new type of image processing methods and theories. Morphological image processing has become a major field of study.Firstly in this paper, some theories of digital image processing were introduced, including image smoothing, image sharpening, image segmentation based on edge detection and threshold, then simulated them with MATLAB. The median filter and edge detection algorithm were studied further, proposing the optimized algorithm of median filter and edge detection. Secondly, it also presented the basic theory of Morphological image processing, including images of corrosion, expansion, the open operation and close operation, and simulated them with MATLAB. It deeply researched algorithms of Morphological image processing, proposing the optimized algorithm of Morphological image processing, mainly about corrosion and expansion. Thirdly, this paper also studied the method of image matching, which is the template matching method, at the same time it also gave an optimized algorithm of template matching and the method of circular objects about its parameters, and analied the template matching through experiments. Finally, Dynamic image analysis is a growing new area, and the circular object detection system of digital image processing that based on Dynamic image analysis is to computer as the core, this system is much more progress than tradition, and the character of flexibility is obvious.The system algorithm is implemented on Innovation. In the practical application, the whole system is less costly and more efficient than the traditional surveillance system, and strengthens the stability and the security, which has produced good economic efficiency and the social efficiency.
