More than 100 years ago, the discovery of X-ray caused a revolution in the medical history. After all these years, the technology of the X-rays has not only got extensive development in medical science, but also play a more and more important role in industry. It is mainly used for measuring the chink and defect of the metal casting and accurate electronic device. Because of the characteristic of the formation of the image of the X-rays itself, the decline of the quality of the image is unavoidable. However, the advanced X-rays detection system that the big enterprises use costs a lot, so it is apparent and very urgent to develop the X-rays image process system suitable for the purpose of precision for the small and medium enterprises.From the point of practical application,, through the analysis and application of such a series of theories as image transforming, image processing and analysis, my paper has finally designed the X-rays detection system which caters to the small and medium enterprises' requirement of the X-ray detection system for the industrial products to the demand of the small and medium enterprise measures for the products. To utilize X-rays to measure the quality of products and improve the qualification rate in the course of industrial production and to let the image processing technology of the X-rays produce more practical value is also the goal of the research task.The paper has analyzed the characteristic of the X-rays image itself as well as the digital image processing technology briefly at first. Then the paper has accomplished many image processing and analytical performances such as the contrast enhancement, denoising, edge detection etc aiming at providing clearer X-ray image for the checkers to diagnose products and improve their quality.The paper has explored the fields of X-ray image processing which include histogram equilibrium, image smoothing and image sharpening etc. and raised the corresponding solutions through the powerful image processing tools kit provided by MATLAB. At the same time, for the users' convenience and can see intuitionistically, we have selected Visual Basic 6.0 to develop user interface, analyzed the way how VB transferred the process of MATLA. Through the interface of MATLAB and VC++, VB called .DLL compiled by VC++ which is transferred by MATLAB so as to realize the perfect combination of the figure and interface.At last, the paper sums the task and makes a prospect about the development of the task in the future.
