Digital image is an image which be showed by matrix, and the basic element is pixel. Today, with the rapid development of science and technology, computer used in everywhere, so that, the digital image processing technique which can be used to process images to reach the demand of person emerged, and be used in many field. Then, varied image processing software appeared, but many of them have complicated operation or only can be used to some specific image, they are unfit for the beginners.In this paper, we design a digital image processing system base on Visual C++6.0 and Matlab. The system achieves the basic file operations and classic algorithms of digital image processing, have a good transplantable character and operability. In addition, the system achieves the function which can adds new algorithms, improve the system’extensibility. At the same time, we use the Visual C++6.0 to design the user interface with a good interactive for convenience of user operation, and project some windows which can be used to set up related parameters.Using this system, user can learn and master the algorithm of digital image processing well, observe and analyze the result of different algorithm intuitively. System’operability make it is more applicable to beginner, the nice interactivity make it is convenient for user to adjust the parameters of different algorithms which achieve the same function, then research the algorithms better, the expandability can make users import his own algorithms, and analyze them with system’s algorithms. In a word, this system provides a good digital image processing platform to abecedarian and researcher.
