With the rapid development of modern information technology which are represented by computer technology,telecommunication technology and network technology, human society is striding toward a new economic era from the industrial age. Characteristics of new economic age such as information technology,knowledge,humanism and globalization contribute to a brand-new knowledge economic society. In new economic era, knowledge takes a leading role in economical increase, and human resource which is represented by intellectual staff and leaders will be main force of enterprises. Under such background, current human resource management system isn't concord with the new features and requirements of human resource supported by information technology. Combination of information technology with human resource management concept speeds up information footsteps of enterprises. As an important component of enterprise management information system, the development human resource management system depends on its theoretical innovation and on the progress of information technology.The paper explores the content and present state of research on human resource management information system, analyzes its problems, and introduces application and research state of data mining technology in human resource management information system. At present, there are two main problems in human resource management: one is that demission rate of staff is high, while the company does not know its tendency; the other is that the company appraises staff with 360 degree performance appraisal method, and gets kinds of data, however, there is not a method to analyze effectively these data.Data mining technology is the process of digging useful information and knowledge from mass data. Its main application on human resource management is to analyze and deal with relative information of staff. And it can dig deep knowledge from surface data. Based on this, aims at problems in human resource management, the paper introduces data mining technology into two parts of human resource management. One is to apply decision tree arithmetic of data mining technology into analysis of staff's demission, to introduce the basic idea and theory of ID3 arithmetic in decision tree method in detail, to analyze partial data of demission staff of Shenyang Shenzhou Digital Limited Corporation, and to classify staff with the help of decision tree, and therefore to find out latent demission staff. Then, we can take some measures to retain them pertinently, and hereby reduce its loss to enterprise. The other is to apply clustering analysis into the analysis on 360 degree appraisal data, to divide current 360 degree appraisal data of Shenyang Shenzhou Digital Limited Corporation into different types with the method, then to encourage different staff with suitable ways, and therefore to enhance their enthusiasm as well as to strengthen enterprise's force. Finally, the paper sums up its research content comprehensively, points out its shortcomings, and puts forward further research direction.
