With the development of computer network technology, wireless communication technology and microelectronics technology, Network is gradually infiltrated into every corner of modern life. As the carrying of personal networks, wireless personal area network technology and IPv6 technology get the industry attention in recent years.In this paper, the wireless personal area network protocols based on IPv6, are researched. How to implement IPv6 in WPAN equipment and how to reduce energy consumption are two key problems that discussed in the paper.In this paper, we designe and implement a Mini IPv6 protocol stack which can be transplant to MCU, implement the network equipment hardware. We also propose a improvement LOAD routing protocol, and a non-synchronous adaptive sleep mechanism.This paper's mainly work are as following:1. Analyze and design the wireless personal area network protocol overall, and propose a wireless personal area network devices integrated energy-efficiency program.2. Analyze of the IPv6 protocol stack layers, and do the cut out analysis of the IP protocol, ICMP protocol, ND protocol and other protocols, simplify the protocol layers to make it more suitable for wireless personal area network devices.3. In the fundament of original mini-IPv4 protocol stack, we design and implement the IPv6 protocol stack based on MCU, and transplant it to MCU system. A test is also carried out .4. Investigate and analyze wireless sensor network routing protocols and energy-saving MAC layer sleep system.5. Design a energy-efficiency LOAD routing protocol based on LOAD. Simulate of AODV protocol and this protocol, compared the energy saving effect. The simulations show that this protocol extends network lifetime.6. On the basis the investigation of the large number of MAC layer sleep mechanisms, this paper design and analyze a non-synchronous adaptive sleep mechanism. We also test the effect on the hardware platform.For WPAN is a kind of interface networks in Internet of Things, this paper can be a reference of the research on Internet of Things.
