The Design And Implement Of Training Center Library Data Management System

Training service is the fundamental purpose of Petrochina Guangzhou Training Center(for short Training Center). However, due to the relatively short history of the establishment of the school, the informatization construction of the school is still in its development period, posing an obstacle to its long-term growth, affecting the policy making of the leadership as well as producing negative effect upon the trainees'study and life on the campus. In an attempt to cater to the informatization construction, training center has set up our own campus network, directly linking the training hotels, classroom buildings and administration buildings. In the meantime, the ERP system of the HR department, the FIMS system of the financial department as well as paperless OA have all set up. During the informatization construction, the library informatization is of vital importance in that it can provide the most convenient and considerate service for the trainees.An individualized and sound library data management system can provide timely and quality service to the trainees, hence it is of vital importance in assuring the training quality.This system is tailormade for the library data management of the training center with the purpose of transforming the service process, giving convenient service to the trainees and raising the efficiency of the librarians. The system consists of 3 parts: maintenance management, library data management and trainees applications.The maintenance management: mainly refers to the librarians'maintenance, code maintenance, data backup and log management of the system.Library data management: mainly refers to trainees information management, library data management, statistical analysis and information retrieval.Trainees applications: mainly refers to trainees'borrowing in advance via the net, the efficient recommendation by the system and the maintenance management of the borrowing information.The system is of multi-layers with high clarity from WEB layer to the persistence layer layer. The layer is connected to interface, the WEB layer is accomplished by Struts frame, and the required parameters can be obtained by configuration files. The business layer is realized by the average Java, the business layer only provides interface to the web layer, and web layer is not concerned with the realization of the target clients.The persistence layer is realized by Hibernate, and the persistence layer only provides interface to the business layer, and the business layer is not concerned with the realization of the targets of the persistence layer. The advantages of the systems lie in: the platform supports JAVA language, hence the cross-platform transplant based on J2EE standard application. Thanks to the safe and strict JAVA language, the reliable code can be compiled during the process of the development.The elaberation of the paper will be in accord with the software development process from the demands to the design, code realization and test and run. The sress is laid on the designing and demands in an effort to clearly elaborate on the connection of the layer structure and realization of the functions.
