With the sixth"speed boost"of Chinese railway carrying out, the CRH High Speed Railway trains were put into operation,which brings more convenience for traveling.While at the same time, it presents GSM mobile communication network greater challenges. Most of the current railway network is mainly used for the coverage of both urban and rural areas, therefore the coverage on railway only can meet calls demand at low speed. However, due to CRH train's good sealing,greater loss of penetraton,fast speed etc, the communication quality decreased obviously, call drop and no-service condition often occures.This topic, based on High Speed Railway network planning and optimization,mainly focus on quick improvement of network KPI & customer perception under coverage state of the art & GSM technical restriction.With the most effective input carrying out, all adjustments should be launched in shortest time in order to reduce the call drop ratio & radio access failure after the boost of railway speed.The specifical settlement of scientific evaluation method based on Broadcast Model Tuning,is using TCP Network planning platform simulation with the combination of field coverage test. This thesis put emphesis on research over base station planning,antena adjustment, network parameter set & frequency optimizaton,by studying the CRH train radio service condition at different speeds and variable circumstances.By on-site radio verification using cell sppliting,the fouth cell,specific antena & CunTongBao (a product of WuHan HongXin),it can result the principle of selection the optimize equipments under different environments and different techniques.Through this thesis,an accurate network coverage simulation on varified of technical conditions can be obtained,which can guide the optimization on high-speed railway. It brings changes on the railway optimiztion,and it makes network optimization more effective by reduing abandant field test. It means network optimization engineer can get clear sight on coverage of High Speed Railway, and the network policy-maker also can make decision in shortest time,with most effective input solving problems relative.The thesis also believe,having the aid of the simulation result under varified circumstances,cells around High Speed Railyway will provide high quality service, and customer perception can be improved rapidly.
