The Research And Implementation Of IP CENTREX Based On Softswitch

At present, the next generation network (NGN) research has passed through the NGN concept, system, and the scope of the framework, carriers have put their emphasis on the services and applications gradually. The major Chinese telecom carriers have all completed the construction of their own NGN network system, and finished the transformation of traditional PSTN switches. Taking the advantages of the speed and flexibility in service of the next generation network, all the carriers make a great effort to put forward various types of value-added services to attract users. The business strategy and focus of the carriers in the present Soft-switching network is to provide satisfied telecom solutions for group and big customers, so as to ensure their main network operating income by attracting major clients.Of the rich applications provided by the next-generation networks, IP Centrex based on soft-switch, studied in this thesis; attract more domestic carriers'attention, because it can provide economical and convenient business solutions for the trans-regional corporations. The first part of the thesis conducted a brief introduction of the IP Centrex, analyzed the IP Centrex's network layout. Then the thesis discussed in detail the access layer, core layer and application layer of the IP Centrex in the following chapters, described the services provided IP Centrex, and put forward the characteristic services which could attract business customers. Finally, the thesis analyzed the application mode of the IP Centrex. The author has participated IP Centrex test of the access side and the user's network cutover. Through reading domestic and foreign communications reference books, consulting equipment manufactures, in the guidance of the teachers, with the help of colleagues, the author analyzed and summarized the features of IP Centrex and concluded that integrated the IP network flexibility, IP Centrex can not only replace traditional PBX DID voice access functions, but also provide more value-added services, it can become the major service promoted by the carriers in the next generation network applications.
