Fault Management System Design And Implementation For Integrated Networkmanagement System

With the rapid development of internet business, the network construction efforts were intensified by many kinds of network operators. Nowadays, the network has been greatly improved not only in terms of capacity but also in the number of users. Telecom operators have gradually changing their development point form network capacity to user-oriented services. In recent fiercely competitive days, the telecom operators become increasing pay their close attention to the service quality assurance and management level improvement. Customer-oriented services quality management has become the key method for telecom operators to maintain their competitive advantage in future.Fault management, as one of the telecommunication network management functions, is able to reflecting the running sate of whole network on time by monitoring the network device status. Meanwhile, detailed abnormal information and corresponding solution can be offered in detail for network maintenance staff. A fault management system with excellent performance, user-friendly interface is become a crucial part of network management system. In current system, different network is managed by telecommunication network management system and different system manage task is undertook by network administrators, this kind of structure bring much inconvenience for network maintenance and troubleshoot. Therefore, the primary purpose of this system is to develop a fault management function which can able to manage multi-integrated network, display failure warning information of all the equipment and distribute this warning information in forms of dispatch list to maintenance department or related staff. In this way, intelligent system performance is improved and fault management is simplified.In this article, fault management system design and implementation methods were described in detail. First, the fault management system research background and significance have been introduced. Then, the sufficient analysis and evaluation of the system has been made. Event correlation algorithm has been proposed as the system theory foundation according to the software design idea and technology feature of the integrated network fault management system. The overall design structure and the final implementation method of fault management system have also been provided. Finally, the realized function of the fault management system was described in detail.
