With the applying of information and computer technology in the financial industry, the computer and network technology for the characteristics of information technology has become the powerful force of driving the world's financial services. After China joiner the WTO, the financial services and the retail business of the domestic commercial bank are facing more and more severe challenges.At present, the China postal self-service equipment system, such as ATM/POS, and the UnionPay card system are built by their own province. The system editions are different from each other. In order to overcoming the difficulties that caused by the different editions, the national post office decide to unify the editions and use the current popular design method------Object-Oriented Technology (OOT).Object-Oriented (00) is very hot in the field of software nowadays. OOT has also developed from pure 00 programming into 00 analysis, design, and testing. Compared with the process------oriented technology, the developing methods of 00 has such advantages that they are widely applied in the field of software developing and perform well in the progress of software construction.In this paper, first, we give a simple introduction to this system requirement, then, we introduce the related techniques such as OOT and database technique in the system development process, after that, we elaborate the design ideas of the system's total structure and module one by one in detail, and finally, we take the fault management module as an example to carry out a detail analysis, design and implementation.After realization, the system is very stable. At present, it is mainly applied to monitoring the operation of the national postal self-service equipments, and it can help us to improve the self-service equipments' using efficiency, and it is more conductive to the supervision and inspection work of the upper sector.
