Design And Implementation Of Embeded DVB TS Analyzer Based On Network

With the development of the DTV (Digital TeleVision) technology, the design of TS analysis system which is used to check and monitor DTV system is becoming the research hotspot of such field.According to the different requirements of laboratory applications and engineering applications in testing scope, precision, cost, portability, reliability and operability, combined with the operation characteristics of network-based management, continuous monitoring in our country, a new schema of Embeded DVB TS Analysis System is introduced.This project focuses on the design and implementation of DVB TS analysis, mainly concentrates on the software system development and the balance of hardware and software functions, and finally realizes the remoted TS analysis system which is based on Java technology and embedded linux.The structure of the TS analysis system is simple but rich-featured, combining the realtime characteristics of the hardware and flexibility of software. By the network support of Linux system and the platform-independance of Java, the user-end software is simplified, reducing the requirements of runtime environment.The TS analysis system is low-cost, small-size, based on network and stable, which is convenient to be massively installed in DTV network.The structure of the paper is as follows.Firstly, MPEG-2 and DVB standards and the recently popular DTV technology are introduced.Then 3-grade error report details of DVB testing standard are presented, and the analysis requirements are also disscussed.Afterwards the embedded hardware and software are designed and implemented according to the system requirements.Hardware part is devised as ARM+FPGA. Software system contains C++ part and Java applet. In the next part of the paper, key technology of the system is discussed.In the end, the paper gives the result of the whole system test.At present, the design of TS analysis system based on network is completed and implemented, including both hardware and software parts. The system performs well during the test. The summary and improvement advice are discussed at the end.
