The Design & Implementation Of The International Mail Routing Management System

With the deepening of reform and opening-up as well as the high speed development of economy, China's postal communication with all over the world has been further developed. This requires international postal communication staff can efficiently and effectively manage sending and sealing relationship of importing and exporting mail packages and mail delivery routing, with the aim of speeding up delivery, reducing business cost, saving freight cost, improving social and economic benefits in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and international postal business.Therefore, it is necessary to develop a computing application system including aviation routing management, mail packages relationship and mail transfer relationship. This paper mainly introduces the design and implementation of the international mail routing management system.This system is different from previous routing management system. It covers all functions of the previous systems and modifies some functions (such as international routing information inputting, statistics and querying etc).In addition, some network functions has been added into the system. In other word, planning, compiling as well as data transmission of routing management systems and the mail package relationship are realized by computer network, so that information resources of the system are shared through computer network to improve system effectiveness.Based on the analysis of MVC design patterns, Struts framework, B/S architecture as well as Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and international mail package relationship and delivery routing process, this paper reveals the design of the international mail routing management systems and analyzes the design of the functional modules. The developed system satisfies the requirements of international routing information such as inputting, transmitting, processing, storing, comprehensive utilizing and sharing. It also implements the inputting of the routing information in post office in different provinces (autonomous region, municipality), which is collected, verified and distributed by National Bureau.This system fully utilizes the existing postal computer systems and realizes the B/S three layers application system. Remote web server is developed by using Tomcat. Remote page accessing is programmed by JSP and JAVA based on Struts. Backend database uses Oracle8.0.5.As a result of this thesis, the system has already been successfully used in the Chinese Courier Service Group. It satisfies the current international business development and international network organization, achieves accurate, scientific and efficient management of international routing data, and improves the efficiency of organizing international network. It is believed that the performance of the system will be further improved with the advanced research and the system maintenance.
