With the rapid development of wireless digital communication and the increasing demand for the Internet, WLAN are now approaching closer and closer to human life. WLAN refers to a local area network that uses high frequency radio signals to transmit and receive data over distances of a few hundred feet, providing the same functions and advantages as conventional LAN technology beyond the cable limitation.The thesis studies the security holes existing in current WLAN standards and the improving measures out of the new standards, and puts forward secure WLAN construction plan applicable to campus WLAN. The thesis puts forward an implementation of WLAN in a concrete campus network circumstance and analyzes its security system,tests its performance.
