With the development of rolling stock,light track vehicle and metro vehicles technology,the control and surveillance of traction, braking,lighting and air conditioning can be implemented by vehicle communication network technology.The fault diagnosis for control system and tips for maintenance information and the dynamic information management of passengers,such as travel information and seat reservation information,etc,can also be implemented by it.Train Communication Network standard IEC61375-1 is of great significance in promoting the progress of railway technology.The standard defines the structure of Train Communication Network,which consist of WTB and MVB.But,the development and application of Train Communication Network begin very late in China,and it is still in it's infancy currently.For the key technologies of TCN are monopolized by a few companies from abroad,and they are only willing to provide products but not the transfer of its key technologies.So if we want our domestic train network and its control technology to be developed rapidly,we should understand the infrastructure protocols of the network in-depthly,grasp its key technologies from the bottom,master the design technologies of its core ASIC and core board.MVB Administrator is a very important equipment on TCN,for it controls the data transfer of MVB bus,and its performance affects the data transmission of MVB network directly.After in-depth study of Train Communication Network standard IEC61375-1 ,comparison of the several common design plans of MVB Administrator on TCN,and associated advantages and disadvantages of each design plan have been analyzed,the design plan of MVB Administrator is established,that is adopting FPGA + SOPC to design it.According to the design plan of FPGA + SOPC,MVB Administrator is designed and its related simulation is completed.The paper's main research contents are as follows:(1)Research and analysis of IEC61375-1.Train Communication Network standard IEC61375-1 is in-depthly studied. Using the function of MVB Administrator on TCN as a clue,the key technologies of MVB are in-depthly studied.(2) Study on general scheme of MVB Administrator. By analyzing the functional requirements,design requirements,several common design plans of MVB Administrator,and through the mastery of technologies of FPGA and SOPC,using the design theory of embedded system,the paper presents FPGA + SOPC as the design scheme of MVB Administrator.(3)Design and implementation of MVB Administrator. MVB Administrator's functional modules are divided.Each module of it is designed based on familiar with Quartus II and Verilog HDL.(4)Simulation testing of MVB Administrator. Using simulation tool Modelsim SE 6.2b,some related modules of MVB Administrator are simulated.The simulation results prove the correctness of the design as the simulation results meet the requirements of Train Communication Network IEC61375-1.(5)Analysis of fault-tolerance of MVB bus communication. The reliability of MVB communication depends on its data error control by the analysis.
