| Following the developing and changing during these years, the mobile phone becomes more and more powerful and cheaper. So many companies have already been focus on how to take the benefit of mobile phone in their daily business work. But due to the fact that the hardware platform of mobile phone and personal computer is quite different. The information exchange in these two platforms is not efficient, which is affecting the usage of mobile phone in business. To solve this problem, many company come out a lot of standards, OMA Data Synchronization Protocol is one of them. And because the protocol is based on XML format and could compatible many data types and transport protocol and could be used between different platform device , those advantages make it as a business standard.The goal of this paper is based on OMA Data Synchronization Protocol, developing a mobile phone information exchange platform which allows the data exchange between mobile phone and pc. That would make the mobile phone join into the scope of enterprise information system and provide service for company business.At the beginning of this paper, it describes and analyzes the OMA Data Synchronization in detail, including protocol structure, the components of data synchronizing command, the detail process of how to synchronize data and so on. Then the paper describes how to create a synchronization server based on this protocol in detail. And finally by building a enterprise mobile phone book using the platform to show the benefit of the mobile phone information exchange platform. |
