Research On Data Syncronization Mechanism In Named Data Network

The Internet's initial goal is to provide the end to end connection of computers and this design pattern resulting in the TCP/IP protocol based Internet architecture exposed a lot of problems in providing service of content distribution applications.These problems include poor scalability,low security,easy to jam and other serious problems.In order to fundamentally solve the problem of the TCP/IP network,scholars from all over the world put forward many kinds of advanced future network architecture.After several years of research and development,the Information-Centric Networking(ICN)gradually becomes one of the most advanced network architecture in the field of network research.Meanwhile,Named-Data Networking(NDN)becomes the mainstream of ICN because of its progressiveness and feasibility.At the same time,multi-user data synchronization mechanism has a lot of important application scenarios in the Internet.In the traditional TCP/IP network,the multi user data synchronization mechanism is based on the central server and this method has the disadvantages of low efficiency,poor robustness and low transmission efficiency.Therefore,designing scientific and reasonable data synchronization mechanism is necessary in the future network architecture.This paper takes advantage of NDN's content aggregation ability and design efficient data synchronization control signaling interaction process,thus proposes the NDN data synchronization mechanism based on synchronization center node.The new mechanism solves the problems existing in the traditional TCP/IP network and NDN data synchronization mechanism.This paper analyzes the shortcomings of the data synchronization mechanism in traditional TCP/IP network,and expounds the advantages of the NDN based data synchronization mechanism.Then,this paper studies the existing implementation of the data synchronization mechanism in NDN and points out the possible optimization direction of them.Then,this paper proposes CenterSync,a NDN data synchronization mechanism based on the synchronization center node.CenterSync can help to solve the network partition problem and improve low data recovery efficiency.It is also possible to use CenterSync in mobile and large scale network.This paper also develops simulation environment based on ndnSIM and realizes the synchronization process of CenterSync by simulation code.Finally,this paper compares with the existing NDN data synchronization mechanism and verifies the correctness and efficiency of the new scheme.
