Dairy industry is the important symbol of agriculture modernization, and the important channel of increasing income for our farmer. In the past ten years, the dairy industry developed rapidly in china, has received world attention, although our country entered the dairy industry great nation, it is not the dairy industry powerful nation, its milk average productive level, quality, hygiene condition as well as the management level compared with the developed country, the disparity is very obvious. In order to change the dairy industry production traditional pattern of our country, using the information technology to regulate the breeding work, to improve local herds'quality, foster the herds of the elite cow rapidly, raise the milk production, reduce the production cost, strengthens dominant position in dairy industry for our country. Therefore, combing the advanced experience abroad and realities, research and implement the intelligent management system of cow breed based on PDA, broke limitation of tradition expert system, unified the breeding management and the breed improvement technology, effective satisfied dairy farmers'demand.1.The system construction uses the client /server pattern, divides the system into the client based on PDA and the server based on PC, the server is in charge of data management, the client completes with the user alternately and the server's relation (transmission, request and analysis data). This pattern had guaranteed system's concurrency, causes the data quantity which transmits in the network to reduce to smallest, thus improved system's performance.2.The development environment uses Microsoft Corporation Windows CE for information equipment, mobile product, embedded using product, Visual Studio 2005 was used as development tool and uses the C#, and fountain model was used to make development more flexible to improve efficiency, to describe from the database design, the system design, and the form design.3.In the aspect of module implementation, introduced several main modules implement technology in detail. dairy cattle performance records including each cattle's accumulation milk production every month as well as each lactation period, butterfat, lacto-protein quantity; Feed intake, feed cost as well as removing the feed cost income; Breeding date, calving date, dry period and other influence performance factor, inputs into PDA and gives the dairy farmers the result. The ancestor pedigree search traversal method of individual dairy cattle using on full binary tree, raised the search speed and the precision. Inbreeding coefficient is the important reference in the dairy cattle breeding; its estimate is profited from the formula which based latus rectum analysis theory overseas experience. The implementation of genetic improvement technology may product outstanding variety, and improves the herd quality.4.In the aspect of key technology implementation, the paper made detailed description about key technology which was used in the system. In the aspect of data accessing technology, the local data accessing used the ADO.NET high-level programming connection to implement, provided bigger compatibility and flexibility; The Teleprocessing Communications used merge replication and RDA to implement, raised the data synchronized efficiency. The data security uses the encryption algorithm of Rijndael, it is the commonly algorithm of mobile terminal PDA, has safeguarded the system's data communication security. The system has also introduced RFID, namely the radio frequency identification devices, implants"digital ID"to each dairy cattle, can inquire basic information in the first time, including dairy cattle ID, type, sex, haircolor, parity, birth weight, as well as parents information and so on.Based on PDA cow intelligence breeding management system management system's realization, provided the convenience for the milk agriculture, the economy to be quickly practical, the decision-making accurate, might The implementation on intelligent management system OF cow breed based on PDA provide the convenience, economy, accurate decision for dairy farmers, and carry on the motion work.
