Design & Realization Of The Data Collection System With Heterogeneous Data Sources In Analyzing Station

Materail Analyzing Computer System (MACS) is part of the industrial information management system. This system is concentrating on collecting data generated during the iron smelting and sintering process, as well as monitoring equipment status. The MACS system collects data being generated and analyzed by computing units of the gauging equipments. Also, it manages data processing to deliver selected data to inspecting/testing system. From there, it sends data to computer systems for iron smelting and sintering process thus to keep the information consistent.This thesis starts with introducing the background, objective and impact of this research. Then it discusses the requirements from the client concentrating on the technical and theoretical aspects. Based on these requirements, the thesis illustrates the design concept, and focuses on the implementation of MACS system.This thesis applies technical principles into industrial practice, resolving the problems existing in manufacturing process. It integrates software engineering, object orientated development, heterogeneous data, multi-thread development, Browser/Server architecture, communication protocol programming, etc. This thesis complete the functions and utilize it into industrial practice.The conclusion of the thesis is:The JAVA enterprise application is not just along a prescribed path. It must be integrated with other technologies and must be customized to accommodate the special requirements for each application.
