Along with rapid development of information technology such as semiconductor technology, communication technology and computer technology, we had already entered into Post PC Era from PC Era and Network Era. The wireless sensor network, which integrated into four technologies-sensors, embedded calculation, network and wireless communication, is regarded as one of the most important technologies in the 21st century. It is not only a kind of newly information acquisition and processing techniques but a kind of New-style wireless networks without basic facilities as well. It can corporately monitor, measure, perceive and collect data from different kinds of environmental or observed objects real time, and handle those data and sent them to the users that need those data. Wireless sensor network is a new research area of the computer science and has a very wide application prospects, and it draw great attention of academic community and industrial community.The main contents of this article is the study on the algorithm of the wireless sensor network based on Beidou Navigation Positioning System to locate the armored vehicle target of the enemies in the city battle field in the future. How to locate the target accurately is a difficult problem of current sensor network study, and it is also an important factor of the sensor application. With advances in technology hardware, for the relative location of the sensor devices and used for absolute positioning of the satellite positioning devices mixed layout, an integrated location algorithm will be relatively easy to determine the location and the measured objective information. Wireless sensor network nodes in the installation of beacons on the "Beidou" Positioning System devices, and this has become "Beidou" beacon nodes. In the city battle field, there are many effects of the weather conditions, stumbling block and noise, and when the physical sensors based on physical effect detect the signals of light, heat, electricity and sound, there will be great measuring errors and the signals don't meet the requirements of application. For the sounds have built-in property and relative longer wavelengths, they can spread around obstructions and compensate the effects of extraneous factors such as wind speed and temperatures according to the theoretical formula and those factors determine that the sound signals will take the leading roles in locating target position. According to the accuracy requirements of the positioning system in the city battle field for locating the armored vehicles of the enemies and practical environment characteristics, this article firstly introduced "Beidou" navigation and positioning system, secondly analyze several techniques in several kinds of common wireless sensor network for locating the targets and compare the merits and faults among those techniques, and find out the hyperbolic location method which based on the estimation of TDOA and met the requirements of this project, and improve on the algorithm and work out locating points by getting the centroid of the triangle according to the reality. Reduce the effect on locating accuracy caused by asynchronism of single sensor as well as external environment factors in practical application. In the end the MATLAB soft ware was used to simulate the algorithm, and the feasibility of algorithm was proven.
