Design And Implementation Of The Location Tracking Module In The Wireless Electromagnetic Spectrum Monitoring System

Wireless electromagnetic, as the carrier of information in wireless communication,become more and more scarce and precious in the background of today’s rapid devel-opment of wireless technology and business, a variety of information processes basedon wireless spectrum applications is showing a spurt of development. Therefore, effec-tive and efficient management and allocation of the radio electromagnetic spectrum,improving the efficiency of spectrum utilization, have become a hot topic of researchand discussion in business.Based on the project of state-key research on the key technology of electromagnet-ic spectrum monitoring in sensor networks, designed and realized a task managementcenter software system for wireless electromagnetic spectrum monitoring. At first, thispaper analyzes and designs the system in detail from many aspects including the topol-ogy structure and the network structure of the electromagnetic spectrum monitoringnetwork, the application layer protocol in TCP/IP protocol stack and the software sys-tem structure. And then designs and implements an important business module, positiontracking module in this system. Through the analysis and design of location algorithm,location tracking procedures and protocols and data processing,realizes the location andtracking of the unknown signal source. The location and tracking algorithm includingTDOA and RSSI, ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of location results. the twicenode recommendation algorithm during location process improve the location efficien-cy.Finally, the test of function and performance were carried out in the real spectrummonitoring network. analyze the location tracking error, location efficiency and trackingthroughput. The results show that, system fully meets the goals the location tracking.
