Along with the high speed of our country economic development, the industry field has raised the upsurge of technological transformations and technological innovation, The competition in the non-ferrous metal profession specially in the aluminum produce market is intense, It is important for the aluminum processing production enterprise to carry on the technological transformations and the technological innovation, improve the product quality, reduce the cost.The smelt of Guizhou Aluminum Branch of CHALCO put construction and production under this environment. The smelting and holding furnace is the important equipment which takes the very important position in the whole production line in the cast house. In order to guarantee with the equipment manufacturer together to design a set of securities stable reliable automatic control system of smelting holding furnace to guarantee the whole production line working normally, it is necessity for us to conduct the comprehensive research in this systemThis topic comprehensively elaborated the smelting and holding furnace and its control system design thought. This system has managed the design thought of configuration software and real time databases etc. to realize the linkage logic by keeping the upper machines, lower machines and intelligent measuring appliance integration controlling with the software methods.The control system is the important guarantee to improve burning, reduce the energy consumption, guarantee the technological requirement, improve the product quality and the output, the final goal is to realize the automatic detection and process control by burning equipment flow, temperature, pressure, atmosphere etc parameters, to keep the production smoothly by equipment energy conservation, highly effective, safe, stable, reliably, guarantees. The smelting holding furnace control system uses Simens PLC, but the casting machine and the electromagnetism stir system uses A-B Contrologix system, because the present various factorie's control production has no one uniform communication standard, various equipment is unable to achieve the product interlock exchanges, how to realize the two communication is the a hard nut to crack in this project, we used the PROFIBUS-DP communication method to solve this problemThe pipeline of smelting furnace is complex, there are a lot of catenation conditions.The important technical question in this system is to keep the control system automatic adjusting their flow by how to allocate proportion oil, atomizing air, once wind, twice wind, discharge fume and so on the parameter during the burner nozzle burning.As the burner nozzle tooks the most essential equipment in the combustion system, how to choose the appropriate burner nozzle is the extremely essential question too, It particularizes the burner nozzle's characteristic in this thesis.The melting holding furnace adoptes the whole big furnace door structure, the furnace door uses the hydraulic system to control up and down, The total weight reaches more than 300 tons after put melting aluminum in the 75 tons tilting furnace, how to guarantee the tilting furnace tilt smoothly, meanwhile to precisely guarantee the melting aluminum requirement during the cast production, the design of hydraulic system is very important. The tilting system of tilting holding furnace is formed a closed loop control by laser range finder, PLC and hydraulic system, to realize the furnace body stepless up and down.The furnace body tilting has quickly up, quickly down, slowly up, slowly down and so on many kinds of functions, it is equipped with the complete security measurements, it could calmly deals with each kind of unusual situation, to realize safety in production, It particularizes the hydraulic control system in this thesis.
