Application Of Scada System In Petroleum Transmission Pipeline

Petroleum industry is an important component part of weighing the country's comprehensive national strength, which has a decisive influence on the national economy as an important strategic resource and industrial product. Therefore, the secure transmission of petroleum has vital practical significance and commercial value.The SCADA system, which uses a variety of instrumentation, control equipment and computer technology to detect, monitor, control and manage the petroleum pipeline, ensures the petroleum security and stability. While SCADA system is used in engineering, it can achieve the required safety technical specifications, improve the economic and management efficiency, and save energy and resources, improve working conditions, and guarantee the safety production.The background and development status of SCADA system is introduced in this thesis. And combining with some a petroleum pipeline project, this paper describes the petroleum pipeline SCADA system functions, technical requirements as well as the basic configurations and main functions of the central control and site control system in detail. The SCADA system in the petroleum pipeline project has been commissioned and accepted, and services in security, stability, and efficiency.
