Iron Oxide material is a kind of metal oxide with magnetism, has wide application in social life includes soft magnetic materials, hard magnetic materials, gyro-magnetic materials and piezomagnetic material. With the development of electronics and information industry, requirement of soft magnetic Iron Oxide material with high permeability has grown by 20 percent annually. High requirement demand materials have high initial permeability. Also want them have good temperature characteristic, frequency characteristic, lower magnetic loss, high impedance, superposition capability and so on. Therefore, improving monitoring capacity of Iron Oxide material production to assure quality of product has important practical significance.In this dissertation, it is discussing a communications network of Iron Oxide material production, which connects remote PC, embedded multifunction gateway, field controller and engineer's phone together, and passes data one another over the network to monitor Iron Oxide material production. The full context is divided into three parts:First, this thesis has a thorough introduction of Iron Oxide material production processing technique, and make out the network design of the whole production monitor system.Secondly, according to the requirement of production data sampling and controlling, thesis has make out a hardware design of embedded multifunction gateway and field controller. Embedded multifunction gateway, as the core of design, chooses an ARM9 series CPU as central controller, has two parts of works in hardware design, communication module and human-computer interaction module. In Field controller design, which using PIC18F4680 as central controller, include A/D sampling, CAN bus communication interface, digital input and output circuits.Finally, thesis has introduced software design of embedded multifunction gateway and field controller. Embedded multifunction gateway software is designed in embedded Linux os software platform, the design task include CAN bus communication thread, auto detecting thread, GSM message receiving thread, database file update process and human-computer interaction process. Field controller software, without operation system, contains production state sampling, CAN bus communication and field equipment controlling functions.
