The automatic guided vehicle (AGV) control technology is an important branch of the logistics automation researching and a study of highly integration, which is rich in education resource. The AGV that we have developed is applied in experimental demonstration for the Industrial Training Center's workshop of our school.The paper researches the information of automated guided vehicle in the past, on the basis of this, the overall design scheme of control system that is based on ARM andμC/OS-Ⅱis brought up. S3C2440 based on ARM is a core for the hardware instruction of control system, the hardware interface circuit was designed with modular design, including power regulator module, memory module, sensor's identifying module, sound and light alarming module, keyboard module, AGV wireless communication module and PC's wireless communication module etc. In the software design of control system, the boot code was designed andμC/OS-Ⅱsystem was transplanted by the development tools of ARM, meanwhile, the drivers of serial port, keyboard ,wireless communication etc and application program were completed. Finally, the AGV control software of host computer was developed with the aid of VC++. In order to enhance system stability, the anti-interference measures were taken in the design of software and hardware.
