Slope protection by vegetation is a kind of slope reinforcement technology gradually rised in recent years, A focus on slope protection with vegetation at present is monitoring and evaluating the effects of slope reinforcement of different kinds of plants. Major study of plant is the influence of plant roots on soil physical and mechanical properties, the effection of solid reinforcement, the increment of soil shear strength and so on. The research aforementioned is based on obtaining the images information of vegetation and the micro-environment. As the root grows in the ground, there are some difficulties on accurate sampling, measuring and observing, but currently available methods of sampling destructive sampling large, a heavy workload, hinder the depth research of root. The slope vegetation root monitoring and analysis system of this article described can solve this problem.The monitoring and analysis system is designed to acquire the root-type image using endoscope. First, insert a hyaloid canal into the soil,which is installed a area array CCD (camera) installed, uptake the root images between the pipe wall and the soil, and drive the CCD rotary and linear movement in order to achieve the entire cylinder-shaped wall panoramic field of view scan. At the same time, remove the soil environment noise, extract root image according to image preprocessing techniques and fractal theory, establish root morphological model of the spatial distribution and time-growth model, to analyse the root morphology of in situ non-destructive monitoring. How to capture the panoramic image is to monitor the root system to solve a difficult problem, need-driven campaign to collect pieces of CCD image panorama scanning to achieve, so CCD motion control system is the focus of this research.This thesis is conbined with National Natural Science Foundation " Rhizosphere micro-structure based on dynamic models of vegetation mechanism of solid-breaking " and research,designed for CCD motion control systems. Its main tasks are:(1) Describes the composition of root monitoring system, analysis system theory.(2) Combined with the composition of common motion control system,analyse the structure of root monitoring motion control system, including the motion controller, stepper motor and mechanical drive system. Anasyse stepper motor drive control method and mechanical drive system design.(3) Describes the hardware structure of the motion controller, it made up of three parts,main control, showing key parts and motor-driven part. design circuit conbined various parts of the principle, draw the corresponding schematic and PCB.(4) According to the control scheme, design overall control software flow chart and various sub-modules flow chart, analysis the motion law of CCD, study the motion control algorithms.(5) Debug the system hardware, software debug, on-line experiments, troubleshoot hardware and software errors of design,and modify it, acpuire the root images on-line and observed experimental results.Experimental results show that the CCD motion control system can achieve two-axis movement to acquire roots image from different position, and solved the disadvantage of small and single image, which basically meet the performance requirements, with a certain value...
