After completion of new or repair of existing power plant, the appropriate load rejection test should be done,in order to test speed control system whether or not to control the machine speed after steam turbine sheding load, make speed quickly stabilize. The wave should be recorded in entire trial when doing load rejection experiment, record the dynamic process after the turbine sheding load, correctly response to the action time of corresponding security control machine. In order to obtain accurate and reliable data, steady-state monitoring of the turbine group is the first thing to do before conducting load rejection test, determine whether the conditions meet the test, which ensure the load rejection test is conducted smoothly. Therefore, the completion of load rejection test requires two sets of monitoring equipment, transient monitoring and steady-state monitoring, which needs to design two sets of stable and reliable monitoring system.Traditional monitoring system is plagued with problems: Large amount of wiring work, data acquisition vulnerable to interference, system of high power consumption, mingled with the data acquisition and control storage, higher economic costs. In view of these shortcomings, in this paper, a complete test scheme was proposed including front-end conditioning to the data acquisition, make use of multi-channel,parallel data collector, combine with many advantages of virtual instrumentation,design a networked virtual instrument based on TCP / IP protocol using LabVIEW software. monitoring system software interface is friendly,the data collection of hardware is controled through the interface directly. This work includes the following aspects:(1)According to specific requirements of steam turbine generator load test, distributed, synchronized collection of test program is proposed, field wiring connections using network distributed, multi-channel, parallel acquisition technique is adopted for multiple signals, digital signals on the spot,then transfer data using ethernet, This makes the anti-jamming performance significantly improved,and field wiring is relatively simple.(2)Two sets of monitoring systems are required to complete the monitoring requirements in load rejection test, through hardware multiplexing, two kinds of user interface procedures namely the interface of steady-state monitoring system software and transient wave recording software were completed to complete two monitoring modes according to the different monitoring requirements. It is "a multi-purpose equipment to meet demand", the value of equipment is maximum developed. And propose of reducing the cost of the test system was completely accomplished.(3)A number of cycles are running at the same time through the LabVIEW's data flow control mode. Each cycle is used to control Multi-channel and parallel collector respectively. And the program is multi-threaded high-speed operation; The efficiency of the CPU is intensely developed. The data transmission program is developed base on the TCP/IP protocol. The data acquisition command is send to the collector through the network communication. After the collection, the data was uploaded to the interactive interface of the host computer via Ethernet. and the waveform can be operated and storage.(4)The software system debugging was carried out through the simulate waveform in the laboratory. Some solution method was presented in accordance with the problem in the debugging progress. The correctness and feasibility of the program was verified. The final test results basically meet the design requirements, and gives the main results, verify functionality of the system.The monitoring system has advantages of high reliability, less wiring, anti-interference ability, flexible of monitoring, simple, more user-friendly and low cost,more suitable for large-scale and medium-sized project and more measurement points remote monitoring, in the monitoring system has great practical value.
