The Application Research Of Project Management On The Safety Broadcast Center

Southern Media Corporation Safety broadcast center project comes from real needs. To ensure the safety of radio and television broadcast and an effective link with the subordinate units ,Southern Media Corporation needs to build an advanced and multi-purpose safety broadcast center , so that it can monitor the whole province's televisions programs, communicate and exchange with the TV stations of cities and districts , and transfer files among them. SMC mobilizes all the subordinate units to carry out this project. The project needs more human and material resources, and to be completed within a limited time. As a result of that, the project organizers need to do every step of the process to ensure that the project could be completed on time and high-quality and passed the acceptance. The success of this project will be a good example of other projects.Combining with the theory of project management, this paper described several aspects of project management's applications in the safety broadcast center, including project scoping, time management, human resources management, risk management, communication management, quality management, purchasing management, project management and so on. This article focused on what practical problems public institutions would encounter while carrying out project implementation and how to solve them, as well as giving constructive comments on how to do a good job of human resources management, communication and coordination and time management. This article concluded and extracted the advantages and experiences of those institutions, from using project management, and pointed out the existence of a number of issues aimed at improving the institution's overall capacity when they carry out project management.
