Computer-aided is often used in wireless network planning. Planning tools arise for this need that analysis of network performance before networks building. Propagation loss is a basic data as a benchmark of analysis of network performance. So, forecast of propagation loss affects accuracy and quality of analysis of network performance as whose premise. Accurate propagation models ensure accurate planning results.Low-frequency radio wants frequency resource with limited system capacity. For the high-frequency band, it's rich in resources and system capacity, with large transmission losses, short transmission distance and the weaker diffraction ability. UHF band results rather well in a compromise between coverage and capacity than the other band, so it is widely used in mobile communication field.Common planning tools support some analysis modes as point, coverage, complex that will request forecast of wireless propagation loss. Conventional steps conclude:edge determination, altitude and clutter determination, terrain determination, calculation. This paper proposes a plan that differs with regular plans on discrete method what can simplify the algorithm and increase analysis patterns. This paper simply provides the basic theories of wireless transportation and Computer-aided prediction of wireless environment in the view of using. This paper can help one to get a profile of wireless transportation and the prediction of wireless environment.
