When the 3rd Generation Mobile Communication Network is Universal and Long Term Evolution technology is mature, in order to satisfy people's increasing demand on wireless transmission rates and services, The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has processed the standardization work of the 4th Generation Mobile Communication Technology(IMT-Advanced). The data rate of IMT-Advanced is 100 Mbit/s for high and 1 Gbit/s for low mobility, high bandwidth should be developed to support the high data rates, which make the RF transceiver more complicated and challenging.According to the requirements of the national "863" project "Wide-Band Multichannel RF Transceiver", this thesis focuses on the research of the Wide-Band Single channel RF Transceiver. It introduces the whole system specification, and determines the system structure, link budget, device selection and analysis。The transceiver system works at 3.45GHz, zero-IF system structure, and the bandwidth is 100MHz. The transmitter consists of modulator, attenuator, filter, pre-amplifier, power-amplifier, PLL, etc, the receiver consists of circulator, LNA, coupler, demodulator, VGA, etc. According to the system specification, the circuit modules such as PLL, modulator, demodulator, VGA are designed and integrated into the whole system, and finally, the test results indicate that the transceiver can satisfy the requirement.
