With the proliferation of service types and the increased complexity of mobile device, device hardware and software failure rate is increasing. To solve this kind of problems, OMA (Open Mobile Alliance)puts forward DM (Device Management).At present, DM and related technologies and its systems research and application deployment has become one of the industry's hot spots.The main purpose of DM is to achieve the management through out the life cycle of mobile phones, mobile device diagnosis and monitoring is partof the DM function. Mobile device is directly related to the user's service experience.The mobile device diagnosis and monitoring of still in the state ofstandardization, some of its function, especially the mobile device diagnosis and monitoring system need further improvement.In this paper, integrated with the mobile device diagnosis and monitoring and policy-based management methods, fault diagnosis can be done automatically, and mobile device diagnosis and monitoring system can provide users the causes of fault and solutions.
