Research And Implementation Of The Management And Control Software Of Special Safety Isolation Device

With the flooding of hacker and virus at Internet, the increasingly serious threatener of information terror and cyber crime, traditional network security products cannot satisfy information security requirements. Those Departments, such as governments, military, communications, financial organizations and enterprise, are mostly concerned the safety of data. They urgly require a new kind of device that can satisfy the demands of both isolation and information exchange. Special Safety Isolation Device is thus developed to fulfill these requirements.This article first introduces the presentation of network security and the basic function of Safety Isolation Device. Then expounds the total architecture and the software architecture. To meet the function and performance requirements, the software of Special Safety Isolation Device cooperates with specially designed hardware. The Device is made up of Hardware Isolation Card, Management and Control Card, Internal Network Disposal Card and External Network Disposal Card.The article mainly researches the design and implementation of the Management and Control Software that is the control center of the Device. The Management and Control Software is used to control the Hardware Isolation Card, to communicate with the Internal/External Network Disposal Card and the GUI configuration software, and to manage process policy. Two communications are included here, one is used between the function units that implement by TCP/IP socket, the other used between the threads in the Management and Control Software that implement by System V Message Queuing. The article focuses on the components and organization of policy and the implementations of PCI device driver that be used to manipulate the Hardware Isolation Card. The handling for configuration commands, the decomposition of policy, the management of rule life time and the callback function are also discussed detailly.
