With the development of network education, gained more and more applications, require a foundation of high availability platform support. In addition, the network educational institutions emphasis on service more and more, network service quality is also one of the major indicators. Online teaching is also an increasing number of students involved, then not only high availability platform, and that the platform should be scalable, to easily meet future expansion requirements.This article first analyzes the concepts of high availability, and the involved technology to support high availability. Here, including all levels of technology, there are load-balanced cluster, high availability cluster file system, database availability cluster, highly available storage device. Detailed analysis of various high availability options for each layer, combined with the practical application of college to find the best improvement for the program, on the one hand is the cost to be high, on the other hand to protect existing investments, full use of existing resources such as the existing EMC disk arrays, Oracle Database and other important resources. The basic platform on top of the service also have transparency, we do not have to modify the upper layer applications, the deployment can be very convenient. This is also the basis of local availability of the platform and developed a complete high availability for Distributed scalable platform solution.Next, the basic platform on the availability of operation and maintenance monitoring, fault alarm and other programs were analyzed, and displayed a specific application, with good practical results. Also on the data and files backup strategy for a more detailed analysis of specific, developed to implement programs to meet the demanding requirements of data security.Finally, to study the future of cloud computing platform for a vision, hope to build on this basis from a cloud build up a high-performance, high reliability, high flexibility of the cloud platform, cloud storage, cloud applications, cloud database and other infrastructure service.The results of this research has been put into production use, through the test of practice, received very good results. We will further study on this basis, do better.
