Analysis Linux Cluster Technology And In The Application Of Distance Learning

Computer cluster system has been widely used in various industries, but it is still rarely used in the Distance Education System. Even though computer cluster system is used in some of the teaching platform of Distance Education Center, they are based on the business computer cluster system. At present, open-source software of clusters has not been used to build distance teaching platform in Radio and TV University System. The thesis analyzes the key technologys of cluster linux system and studies building distance teaching platform based on cluster linux system to promote cluster linux system to be used in China Distance Education. We have done the following works:1) Analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of Distance Learning Platform in Radio and Television University. Propose the method to improve the existing system to meet the using requirements. Open source software is used so that the stability and expansibility of system can be improved.2) Analyzes Netfilter framework, NF_HOOK macro realization, Filter table and hook function registration of the Linux operating system kernel.3) Analyzes the data structure, module initialization and the algorithm realization of load balancing cluster software LVS(Linux Virtual Server). Analyzes the IPVS connection management. Introduce the using areas of each algorithm. Finally, introduce how to exchange data between user and the Linux kernel through IPVSADM command in order to configure and manage LVS.4) Analyzes the high-availability cluster software Heartbeat message communication model, reliable message communication, the problems and solution of reliable message communication. Analyzes the realization of reliable sources of communication.5) After to analyze the principles and realization of load balancing cluster and high-availability cluste software, the installation, configuration and management of front-end server based on the Linux are introduced. Cluster real server can use both Windows and Linux systems. In the last, installation, configuration and management in two systems are introduced.The research results of the thesis makes Radio and Television University system to set up distance learning platform based on cluster linux system to replace existing stand-alone operating systems and business clusters. At the same time, linux-based cluster system used in distance education in China is promoted.
