With the rapid development of mobile multimedia technology, there is a need to provide a variety of services to users of mobile terminals. However, the hardware limitations of mobile devices are exposed by the development of new services. For example, the storage and processing power of mobile terminals is challenged by the increasing amount of information, low bandwidth wireless networks; meanwhile the diversity of streaming media formats and heterogeneity of terminal equipment imposes restrictions on sending and receiving. The challenge is to filter the information so as to provide users with the most appropriate and interesting information. This thesis describes the design of a context-based broadcasting system implemented in three functional blocks:"page information radio station", "video receiver system", and "interactive features". The context is used to determine the user's likely interest. It is not only user-friendly, but also reduces the amount of information with which the terminal must cope. At the same time in the realization of the process, we propose a theoretical model of context-awareness, which includes the Context Extraction Model handling the environment of the terminal, as well as a user interests perceptual model based on the Markov process dealing with internal context. In the process of system testing, the system was tested from functionality, robustness, as well as context-based perceptual model. Results demonstrated that the system can provide satisfactory information to the user, and the system with perceptual model could better predict user's behavior, so as to provide a better user experience for mobile service.
