Information and communication industry is the green industry of the national economy. It develops very rapidly and need to enter the ranks of a sustainable development. The central focus of the entire communications industry has reached an unprecedented high. With the development of the internet matures, we have a good broadband technology, wireless technology, communication technology, computer technology, more a large number of related technologies mastered the fine talent. With the development of society, people's communication quality, communication and many other demands increase, making the traditional means of communication:mail, voice and other needs not enough qualified for the modern times. With the support of the above three basic conditions, internet-based audio and video communications industry has developed rapidly.According to IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) definition, embedded system is a "control, monitor, or assistive devices, machinery and equipment operation device". Embedded system is based on application-centric, computer technology, hardware and software can be cut, it is mainly used in computer technology, communications technology, semiconductor technology, microelectronic technology, voice, image data transmission technology, and even sensors and other advanced technologies, apply to applications for functionality, reliability, cost, size, power consumption, there are strict requirements of special computer system. Currently embedded systems have penetrated into every corner of our lives, industrial control, traffic management, information appliances, home intelligent management system, POS network and e-commerce, environmental engineering, robotics, etc., almost less than nothing. Embedded systems has many features such as a system kernel is small, dedicated, the system streamlined, real-time high, and multi-task operation. As information technology, intelligence, network development, embedded systems technology will also get a broader space for development. There are two mesh current international audio and video codec for the standardization organizations:one is the International Telecommunications Union (ITU-T) under the VCEG (Video code Expert Group) Video Coding Experts Group, and the other is the MPEG (Motion Picture Expert Group) Moving Picture Experts Group under the International Organization for Standardization ISO and the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC. Both of the standardization organizations has made a tremendous contribution to the audio and video codec work, and jointly promote the audio and video codec technology development and applications.This paper will introduce a product-Net real machine. It is based on Freescale's i.MX27 hardware platform. Its software is based on embedded Linux operating system. And for application software, communications control is SIP (The Session Initiation Protocol Session Initial Protocol)-based protocol Linphone. Graphical user interface is MiniGUI. Eventually achieve the network audio and video communications capabilities, and have audio and video recording, audio and video playback and other auxiliary functions.
