Traditional warehouse management commonly depends on a nonautomatic method. People write the goods information on pape to manage how many goods in or how many good out in the warehouse, which bases on the brain of people and using this method, would lead to waste human resource, be more mistaken in operation process and be low effective in operaton process.According to different goods in warehouse, printing different label on them.And each lable there is a code number on it. Using a hareware device reads the code on the lable and saves them in database.Then managing the code in database is as same as managing the goods in the warehouse. Using this scientific menthod, cooperate with the code managing softeware can manage the goods in warehouse more effectively.This project is to develop a product which has the ability to finish this task. In hardware, the main controller uses the S3c2410 chipset, which uses the ARM9 kernel and produced by Samsung. The Se923 Scan Engine, produced by Symbol connects with the mother board through the serial port. The Se923 Scan Engine can read the code numbere and send them to mother board through seraial port.In software, using the Linux OS and porting the Sqlite and MiniGui middle layer software on it. The Applicaton receives the code number through serial number and saves them in the database. Using the Sqlite API function can insert, delete and find code numbere in the database conveniently. Using the MiniGui API function also can show the all kinds information on LCD.Because this product is developed by myself, maybe there are some function can not work steadily.
