To protect the road transport safety and road durability, comfort, and reduce the damage and impact caused by overload and over-limit vehicles, it is necessary to control the overload and over-limit vehicles by a effective vehicles load measure method. As the high speed development of traffic volume, the traditional static weighing method is unable to satisfy the requirements on efficiency and cost. Meanwhile, the dynamic weighing method has become a trend as its shorter operation cycle, higher efficiency and lower cost.In this thesis, based on the demand for the dynamic weighting of vehicles over-limit inspection station, dynamic road load measurement precision,compensation algorithm was researched, a new vehicle over-limit inspection station(VOLIS) system architecture and low-cost, high-precision dynamic weighing method was proposed, and a dynamic weighting system was given. The main contents is as following:(1)Based on the research and the summary of the characteristics of the single-channel single-pound VOLIS system, a multi-channel multi-pound VOLIS system was proposed;(2)A dynamic weighing platform was built. Completed the weight signal acquisition, conversion and transmission circuit design by use of AT89C52 (processor) and ADS7825(A/D chip).(3)Based on the results of weight signal transmission and the analysis of data fit of linear regression model and nonlinear regression model, determine to use linear regression model to compensate dynamic weighting error. Calculate the parameters by lots of experiments and verify the validity of the compensation algorithm.(4)Designed and implemented a loading-based toll system and a VOLIS management system. Enhanced the automation of over-limit detection business and over-limit inspection station management business and increase working efficiency.Based on a VOLIS construction project, a over-limit station system was design and a dynamic load measurement system was implemented. By using of this system, the vehicle detection efficiency is improved. The average pass time per vehicle is less than 20 seconds, and the vehicle load measurement error is less than 3%. It proves that the system is better.
