The research and development of the management system of measurement and control with the computer of the direct current conversion station is one of the significant transforming items on the long-term operation of the station. The direct current conversion station functions as the energy of the heating equipment. It includes a large number of electric devices, such as the rectification voltage transformer, the magnetism saturation reactor, the rectifier, the cable, etc., and the procedures of operating, protecting, observing and controlling it are very complex, so its management and operation are highly required. Furthermore, because it mainly supplies the power for the aeromechanic heat experiments, which need to imitate the heat environment of a certain aircraft as true as possible, the experimental state is required to be extremely steady. Not only the heating air current should be kept constant, but also the electric current and the voltage of the power supply ought to be steady. And this kind of steadiness is decided by the ability to control the output of the power supply of the direct current conversion station. In addition, the development of the aeromechanical research has put forward higher demands for the state quality of the power and the experimental procedures, such as changeable states and parameters. As a result, the power supply is expected to have the corresponding control ability. However, the traditional buttons as well as the relaycontrol system can hardly meet the demands for high power quality, high reliability and high adjustability to changing circumstances. With the development of one of the modern high techniques, the computer application technology, the microcomputer has been widely applied due to its abundant softwares, comparatively better adjustment to the industrial environment and high reliability. In order to satisfy the heat experiments and improve the measurement, control and management of the power system of the direct current conversion station, it is imperative that the management system of measurement and control with the computer is researched and developed.Therefore, on the basis of the manual control system and by means of the modern control technology with the computer, we have developed a new management system of computer measurement and control of the direct current conversion station and carried out the unloaded debugging and the real heating experiments. The experimental results prove that this system has the characteristics of high reliability, being easy to operate and high flexibility. In the meantime, it has made qualitative improvement in the original system as to parameter measurement, changeable parameter running, systematic stability and so on. In short, the expected goals of design have been completely achieved.
