Research And Implementation Of Project Budget Management System Based On Ontology

Using the information technique in the field of cost of civil engineering works can trace back to till 20th 70's in the our country,the mathematician HuaLuoGeng of the our country toke the study of using computer to design the construction budget at that time.Subsequence,Some native major building firms also all tried to use the computer to design the software of engineering budget and budgetary estimate,and procured the definite fruit. But the construction project quotas of national every locality have more differences,the construction specifications also differ,labour cost sand the material expenses of the every locality also differs.In general it is difficult to design the software of engineering budget and budgetary estimate applicable to whole country. Therefor,according to my firm practical instance and the construction project quotas using by SiChuan province,this subject develops the suit of software of engineering budget adapted to my firm.The project budget management can help improve the consistency of data provided by each function department,which is conducive to increase the understanding between the participators from various projects,between the human and the computer,and between computers.To achieve this goal and intelligentize project budget management,this thesis employs"Ontology"as a communication or exchange agent between each management filed.Since 1990s,ontology has been introduced in Artificial Intelligence,Knowledge Engineering and Library&Information sciences.of ontology and Information sciences will bring energy into the research of Information sciences and the combination is needed for the demand of modeling practice.Ontology is a formal,explicit specification of a shared conceptualization,and represents domain knowledge in an explicit and formal mode.It is useful to enhance knowledge sharing and the cooperation feature between heterogeneous systems.OWL is the W3C recommendation WEB Ontology Language and is developed based on Description Logic.And it can describe ontology knowledge and reasons efficiently.This paper systemically introduces the theory of the ontology and modeling.At the theory of ontology aspect,the origin, definition,type and role of ontology have been described.We fully analyze potential function of the ontology,point out that the theory of ontology is benefit to avoid semantic diversity and implement knowledge sharing and reuse.On the other hand,this paper summarizes application of ontology in project management and points out that the applying of ontology gets more extensive than before but the research level of ontology in China is not as developed as the western countries now.UML is a standard object- oriented modeling language issued by OMG ,there are many basic relations in UML which are similar to ontology relation , such as generalization,association,aggregation and composition.UML is object-oriented modeling language , represent ontology using object-oriented idea in favor of reuse of ontology.Therefore the paper choose to use UML represent ontology.At the same time,UML not only has support of database and matue development environment,but also has a large number of software developer which are familiar with UML,so the methord will have promotion and researchful value.Therefore the paper choose to use UML represent ontology.This thesis constructs a framework of engineering project management integration.Based on studying the construction,mapping and learning of ontology,there are several major points discussed and studied:The background of engineering project management and its integration,as well as the interrelated theory of ontology,including ontology definition,classification and description,ect are introduced.The method of domain ontology construction,the ontology integration method based on semantic similarity,the ontology learning method based on document analysis are discussed.
