Manufacturing Execution System (MES) is an information system which is located between the plan management and industrial control layer and oriented to workshop process management and control. In the functional modules of MES,"data acquisition and transmission"is the module that directly contacts with the plant floor equipments and acquires data. It is one of the key modules ensuring smooth implementation and good performance of MES. An information measurement and control terminal with multiple serial ports in equipment level of workshop is proposed in this thesis. Centralized monitoring of information and real-time control of equipments in workshop can be realized by the terminal. This terminal can provide important running information in production field to MES. It is a bridge connecting manufacturing execution system and process control system.Based on the research of the project, software system architecture of multi-serial port information measurement and control terminal in workshop equipment level,driver development based on Windows CE, soft-shutdown scheme design and operating system porting is mainly studied in this paper.Research status at home and abroad in related fields is briefly reviewed firstly. Then acquisition method of different information in workshop equipment level of MES is analyzed, and requirement of information measurement and control in equipment level of workshop is determined. On this basis, software and hardware architectures of multi-serial port information measurement and control terminal are put forward.On the basis of software and hardware architectures proposed, key technologies of information measurement and control terminal in equipment level of workshop are studied. These technologies include device driver models and the interrupt structure of Windows CE, serial port extended technology of information measurement and control terminal, scheme design of soft-shutdown based on MCU.Windows CE operating system porting is completed after analyzing the above key technologies. Main modules of software system of information measurement and control terminal with multiple serial ports in equipment level of workshop are developed. These modules include extended serial driver, serial data acquisition program, control program of MCU, SPI interface driver and soft-shutdown application, etc. At last, all modules of software system of information measurement and control terminal with multiple serial ports in equipment level of workshop are integrated and comprehensively tested. The information measurement and control terminal is used in experimental platform for monitoring energy consumption of main transmission system of machine tool. This example verified the feasibility of the above scheme.
