With the development of the shipyard, the accidents in the shipyards are also increasing, so the shipyards need to use the monitor software to monitor its production. It is expensive to use large-specialized monitor software, and the small and medium shipyards are unbearable. It is not a very good choice to use common monitor software for small and medium shipyards, which are poor of software development capabilities. Actually, common monitor software and the actual situation of shipyards often exists a certain gap. Therefore, the design and development of low-cost, efficient, suitable for the requirements of small and medium-sized shipyard production safety monitor system has a strong engineering significance and market value.Based on the research of the popular monitor system both at home and abroad, and combined to the situation of shipyard production safety, the article developed a set of shipyard production safety monitoring system for the small and medium sized shipyards. First, this article had an overall design for shipyard production safety monitoring system and a deep analysis of the functions of the monitoring system, and described the overall design of the system. And the design of the monitoring system was divided into software design and hardware design.The hardware in this paper was designed to monitor the flammable and explosive gas and temperature in the shipyard workshop with TMS320LF2407A DSP chip as the core. Among them, the selection of sensors and sensors installation in the shipyard production safety monitoring system were illustrated, and so on. The paper focused on the system power supply, sensor signal conditioning, serial communication and circuit design of anti-jamming of hardware.Based on the hardware design, the article conducted further studies on the multi-sensor data fusion algorithm, and proposed weighted sensor data fusion method for shipyard production safety monitoring system. The method took the full advantage of the raw data of sensors, and integrated the mean square error of the sensors, measurement precision, and other of information together, and improved the precision of the system. The advantage of this method is not requiring any prior knowledge of measurement data, and it is just only based on the measurement accuracy of measurement data to determine the appropriate weights for different data, and we can calculate the value of the integration whose mean square error was smallest. To some extent, it can inhibit the drift and noise from sensors, and improve the precision of the system. Software design was divided into lower computer software design and host computer software design. Modular design ideas were adopted in the part of software design for the lower computer. In the part of design and implementation for the host computer software, I first introduced the architecture of the host computer software, divided the modules of software based on functions of the shipyard production safety monitoring system, and introduced functions of each module. In this paper, VC + +6.0 was used to design and implement the module of monitoring screen development, the module of communication, the module of database access and the module of the command language. In the part of database design of the system, I realized the dynamic data exchange between the shipyard production safety monitoring system and the Access database by the ODBC. Then, I did a further study on the technology of anti-jamming for monitoring system. The system I developed has debugged and ran without any errors online, and it has a very good performance and HMI.
