With the advancement of technology, data acquisition circuit expanding range of applications, increasing the signal type, complex processing algorithms and the increasing demands of speed and accuracy of collected data acquisition has become the major problem areas. In the real world in many areas, such as automotive electronics, mobile communications, medical electronics and particle detectors are needed for data collection. But almost all of the data acquisition circuits contain many common features. By analyzing the data acquisition circuit common to design a high-speed general-purpose data acquisition platform that can be applied to most of the data acquisition application is the purpose of writing this paper. This paper focus on the common data acquisition circuit to discuss, analyze the general feasibility of data collection platform, and data acquisition platform for the overall structure and core components are introduced, and finally through two examples(the particle detector data acquisition circuit and medical instruments CELLPACK signal acquisition circuit ) to demonstrate the platform's versatility and practical value. The main work of this paper includes:(1) Analysis of the data acquisition system and build a reusable multi-function data acquisition platform that enables different functions of data acquisition circuit, and the success of its application to two completely different data collection design, which reduce design development time and costs.(2) According to ASIC VA64-TA2 features and application environmental requirements, select the appropriate package type, the chips were packaged.(3) According to the SD data sheet independently developed a IP to read and write the SD card, and integrate into the structures in the FPGA, based on NIOS II CPU on chip system.
