The millimeter wave can obtain the widespread application by its unique merit in the electronic system, and can have the special potency. But, the millimeter wave power resources were still at present restrict the millimeter wave technology in application system's crucial bottleneck question, particularly the wideband power amplifier is in the Communications Today system's one kind of important amplifier type. Based on this, the development band width, the reliable high millimeter wave solid state power source technology becomes now the millimeter wave area research key and the main development direction.This paper studied the synthesis technology based on solid-state power millimeter wave high power amplifier. One of the key design elements - Broadband power splitter / power combined network, is the use of 3dB E plane waveguide branch directional coupler to achieve. The frequency range 29-31GHz, insertion loss less than 0.5dB of the four-way power divider, power combined network, and its power output is greater than 40dBm (10W). At the same time, also designed a power driver stage amplifier module, power processing module, power supply module. The overall implementation of the power amplifier, power sampling and temperature measurement range of functions. Power supply module also has overvoltage, overcurrent and undervoltage protection circuit functions. Power driver stage amplifier module, power module and power amplifier modules dealing with input and output ports have adopted the standard WR-28 waveguide port, not only for the convenience of testing, more importantly, is to facilitate as a millimeter-wave high power amplifier as the core, using spatial power combiner for millimeter-wave technology, a higher high-power amplifier, which applied to radar and more communications systems.
