Process Component Models-based Research And Development Of Application Server For RFID

As RFID was applied more and more widely in many industries, the business process related with RFID became more difficult and changed more frequently. The traditional development pattern of RFID application system has blocked its progress in enterprise application, especially in middle and mini type enterprise. The developers of RFID concern about not only how to correctly handle a mass RFID data sent by RFID readers, but also have to face series of problems, which need to be solved immediately: how to effectively and quickly integrate RFID technology into a non-customized RFID system, how to build models of business process, develop and reuse the legacy of business components and how to deal with the frequent business change. Based on this, this paper focuses on the research and development of business process application server for RFID.In this paper, we design business process application server for RFID, combining with the idea of process component models, which can build a RFID business process description file of execution semantics in order to minimize the distortion between the model of business process and the execution of business process, and parse and excute the process description file through extending the kernel of process virtual machine. At the same time, the server will parse and encapsulate the RFID data in order that the data is no longer just a simple tag data, and becomes a signal that triggers the execution of the entire business process execution. The module design of the application server in the architecture and the use of process virtual machine make the system easy to be extended and more lightweight. Finally we try to use the server provide solutions for the common business scenes of the retail trade and to test the feasibility of the server.Firstly, this paper will analyze the current existing RFID and workflow solutions, and the characteristics of their respective. Then we propose that the core idea of the process component model is embedded into the design of RFID process server and present research line of the paper and feasibility analysis of the associated technical. Next, for the several key issues of the design, including the design of the language of process component models, the design of the RFID event signals envelope standard, the design of business execution and the management of business components, we will do in-depth research. Then, we will analyze the requirement of the RFID business process server, design and implement the architecture of the server. Finally, draw up conclusion and prospect.
