Improved Design On The Monitoring System For A Pyrolysis Gasoline Unit

In large chemical and industry plant of china, ethane unit has many profitable & plenty products. So Chemical & Industry Department of China always pay great attention to ethane unit.As lower unit of ethane unit, pyrolysis gasoline unit also has the rigor industry status, and smaller size than EU, so it can be used for reference on studying in EU.First, in the article we begin with an analysis on rectify & C5 reactor of PGU, as well as the discussion the key point of control.Next, we study some special measure condition of PGU. We analyse the possibility of bi-direction orifice for flow meter and the use of the orifice in sonic condition. And finally find the way to solve these problems.Since the flashing status on valve is the main cause leading to valve damage and site noise, We particularly focus on the cause of flashing valve ,the harm of flashing in plant and the countermeasure when it is inevitably.Finally, for keeping up with the international chemical & industry design company, we apply the INTOOLS which have several function modules sharing one main database for different purposes, which can saving lots of time. We believe that INTOOLS will be the main software in the world for chemical project control.
